Poor Benedict and Pentecost

The face of the pope's church; investigating gospel inspired nuns, Vatican bank scandals, leaked papal documents, back stabbing cardinals, lousy new liturgy translation, and of course not honestly addressing the whole sexual abuse crisis. Poor Pope.

I worry about those little lambs at the wolf's feet.

    Hostile campaigns against the autonomy of women and legal equality of sexual minorities share similar world views and core beliefs .... whether they come from Rome, Dallas, Islamabad or Riyadh.

    BB. You have added two more reasons for the Spirit's seeming flight from the Vatican. I always appreciate how you can also put things in such a worldwide, universal perspective.
